As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, deterring security‑related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. The position requires an armed guard card, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to patrol by vehicle and/or on foot. What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations in commercial real estate, healthcare, and education environments. Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise. Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following protocols for armed personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and check credentials to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas. Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities while on duty. Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and lockdowns, as required by site‑specific protocols. Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security‑related concerns and support a secure environment. Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or incidents specific to the location’s operational needs. What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available. Minimum Requirements
An active armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver’s license is required. Pepper spray certification is required. CPR and first aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state laws and may be required prior to employment. Why Join Us
