Job Title Associate or Full Professor – Health Services Research, Management, and Policy

Overview The Department of Health Services Research, Management, and Policy at the University of Florida invites applications for a tenure/tenure‑track faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. This is a full‑time, 12‑month position. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Teach upper‑division undergraduate and graduate‑level courses that support the Health Administration minor, Master of Health Administration, Master of Public Health, and/or Ph.D. programs.

Conduct health policy research spanning teaching, research, mentorship, and service, with expertise in fiscal and operational policies related to public health, health service delivery, payment models, and health outcomes.

Secure approximately 50% salary support from extramural funding and contribute to the research mentorship of junior faculty.

Assist with developing PhD students and serve on college and departmental committees.

Collaborate routinely with health system leaders, clinicians, and policymakers through the UF health system.

Minimum Requirements A doctoral degree in health services research, health administration, health management, health economics, health policy, public health, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Distinguished record of scholarly achievement, extramural funding, classroom education, and mentoring experience consistent with the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

Extensive research portfolio in diabetes, cancer, and health disparities, and a commitment to advancing the College’s research portfolio.

Salary Negotiable based on experience.
