Position Summary
The Design Manager is responsible for the efficient production of high-quality design of digital and print marketing collateral for many of Aetna’s GRS clients. You will design client creative projects and programs through strategic direction, development of cohesive creative concepts, and seamless execution. You will work quickly, effectively, and continually find ways to work more efficiently through in-depth understanding of design software and other digital tools. You will suggest improvements and modify formats to increase quality of production and ensure that all client standards are met. You will ensure all creative deliverables are consistent with the Aetna Branding design quality and consistency standards. You will successfully deliver on a range of creative deliverables, including but not limited to all print and digital assets. You will bring innovative, thoughtful, tactical, and strategic-level thinking to client projects.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and produce high-quality print and digital design assets, including website, email, social media, and print assets.
Collaborate with marketing teams, internal stakeholders, and creative team members to ensure consistent design deliverables.
Improve workflow and efficiencies to deliver quality design assets quickly without sacrificing quality.
Required Qualifications
Possess a deep understanding of the health insurance industry, client’s health benefits products, audiences, and business objectives, and execute on creative that aligns with the client’s vision.
Ensure successful execution of print and digital creative projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of design objectives and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Develop user-centered designs, ensuring that the products and services deliver an exceptional user experience.
Promote cross-functional collaboration with other teams such as Marketing and Account management team, and MarTech.
Proactively identify and act on opportunities for operational creative efficiencies and improvements.
Understand the importance of accessibility and meeting WCAG 2.0 standards in design.
Effectively manage multiple design projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Ensure all output is in alignment with client principles, values, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Coach others in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
5+ years of digital and print creative work experience in an external or internal agency.
5+ years of health benefits insurance marketing and communication expertise.
Benefits and Compensation The typical pay range for this role is $66,330.00 - $145,860.00. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
