Overview The Digital Media & Animation Department is seeking talented and passionate faculty to teach in our Digital Media & Animation and Graphic & Media Design AS and BS programs. This is a
temporary faculty position , offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our program and help shape future creatives.
Our department is growing and evolving, with a mission to equip students with the cutting‑edge skills needed to thrive in today's digital media, graphic design, and game development industries. Faculty have the opportunity to teach the latest software, tools, and production techniques in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Teaching Responsibilities
Digital Foundations I & II
Production I & II
Motion Graphics
Advanced Motion Graphics
Senior project advising
Special topics courses in areas of personal or professional expertise
Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, student advising, and active participation in college service.
Job Requirements
Masters degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency with relevant software, including the Adobe Creative Cloud.
Dedication to teaching and the exploration of emerging technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
Terminal degree (MFA or PhD) in a relevant field, or ABD with completion date before August 2023. Candidates with a relevant MS or MA degree may be considered.
College‑level teaching experience beyond TA.
Professional experience in related fields.
Ability to teach in other relevant areas, including 3D Modeling and animation, graphic design, video production and digital foundations.
Salary and Benefits The salary for this temporary position is $25,027 and is commensurate with education and qualifications.
