Azure Engineer/Drupal Developer (Full Stack)

ITCON Services . This full‑time, salaried position is located at ITCON HQ in Vienna, VA or at a client site in Washington, DC. Applicants must be permanent U.S. residents or citizens and clearable for a Public Trust clearance with the U.S. Government. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Drupal applications, including custom modules, themes, and headless implementations. Build and deploy cloud‑native applications on Azure using AKS, Docker, Azure Front Door, and Azure WAF. Implement CI/CD pipelines with Git, runners, and Azure DevOps to automate testing, deployment, and delivery. Ensure application and infrastructure security, including access controls and WAF policy configuration. Design and implement database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Azure Database services to support Drupal applications. Develop and maintain full‑stack features using PHP, JavaScript (Angular/React), HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, and relational databases. Integrate applications using APIs for workflow automation and data orchestration. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize performance, and integrate third‑party systems. Maintain detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration workflows. Monitor and tune application health, performance, and cost efficiency with Azure monitoring tools. Support post‑deployment review of logs for errors and resolve technical challenges. Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 7+ years of software development experience. 3+ years of Azure cloud technologies (AKS, Docker, Azure Front Door, Azure WAF, Azure database services). 3+ years designing and developing Drupal websites on Azure Cloud. Full‑stack development skills in PHP, JavaScript (Angular or React), HTML, CSS, and RESTful API design. Experience with automation and configuration management. Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration. Knowledge of object‑relational mapping frameworks. Experience with Agile and Test‑Driven development methodologies. Experience integrating Active Directory authentication. Mobile application design and development experience. Excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of Git. Expert‑level SQL knowledge. Self‑starter and ability to work as part of a team. Desired Skills

Experience with headless Drupal and decoupled frontend architectures. Microsoft Azure certifications or relevant cloud certifications. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Benefits
