This role allows you to impact our advanced threat prevention strategy.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with marketing, product management, campaigns, industry analysts, sales, customers and technology partners to deeply understand our target audience, their key security issues and the competitive landscape.

Define the unique value proposition and drive messaging, content creation and thought leadership for the product line.

Build and execute cross‑functional plans with product management, go‑to‑market, sales, and analyst relations.

Impact

Develop and execute strategy that establishes Palo Alto Networks as the leader in preventing advanced threats.

Define product‑line messaging with clear target markets and buyer personas.

Author compelling high‑quality content across print, web, social media, and video.

Launch products and work with field teams to deliver awareness and pipeline results.

Enable sales and channel teams to become subject matter experts in IPS and sandboxing.

Represent the company at customer engagements and events, evangelizing our perspective.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in cybersecurity or network security technologies (e.g., firewall, NGFW, IPS, malware analysis, sandboxing).

8+ years of technology product marketing, product management, or technical marketing experience.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Proven collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Creative thinker who can deliver engaging presentations in various settings.

Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $170,000 / YR – $212,000 / YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a 15% bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
