Senior Product Manager - Customer Experience at The Home Depot. The role focuses on assessing market needs and inspiring cross-functional product teams to deliver value, drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction through quality products. The Sr. Product Manager works with teams of developers, designers, and business partners, communicates across the organization, and combines strategic thinking with tactical execution. Key Responsibilities
50% Strategy & Planning: empathize with end users, translate goals into product strategy, communicate direction and priorities, identify metrics, and continually refine the product backlog; partner with Finance to understand financial needs and assist in business plans Monitors research and competitive landscape to recommend best solutions and ensure products stay best in class; balance user needs with business goals to drive sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction 20% Delivery & Execution: formulate, test and refine hypotheses; ensure quality and change control standards are met; create, prioritize and accept user stories and incorporate into release planning; make daily product decisions; assess risks and dependencies Participate in standups, planning, demos, and retrospectives; translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders 30% People: foster collaboration among Engineering, UX, and other teams; advocate for end users; assess progress, share lessons learned, and guide prioritization; mentor more junior team members and contribute to learning and talent development Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older Must be legally permitted to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications
3-6 years of relevant work experience Experience as a Product Manager in a modern software development enterprise environment Experience with agile methodologies and modern software development practices Proficiency in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities Strong communication and influence across organizational levels Experience creating, prioritizing and accepting user stories; conducting user research and testing; defining goals, metrics and analytics; conducting competitive analysis Experience guiding junior team members in Product Management fundamentals Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field Minimum years of work experience: 3 Skills & Competencies
