We are looking for a
Senior Accountant
to work for our Cleveland client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Responsibilities: Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end close processes and support the proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and company policies Complete accounting processes and maintain effective internal controls around the tracking and accounting, and related reserves in accordance with US GAAP Ensure the integrity of key processes by understanding systems, the flow of transactions, internal controls, and recommending efficiency and effectiveness improvements Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and controls Responsible for training and assisting less experienced accountants. Performs other duties, ad hoc requests, and projects as required Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of professional accounting experience Excellent knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, and procedures Highly developed communication, both written and verbal Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Seniority level
