Job Summary
The Solutions Architect for Automation & AI proactively leads and supports domain-level activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of automation and AI solutions. This role is trusted as a thought leader who influences business and IT leaders, provides technology-neutral leadership, and drives long-term business outcomes. Responsibilities
Understand & Translate Business Needs (30%)
Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint, work closely with product owners, and deliver impact assessments and process diagrams.
Assess Technology (30%)
Monitor the solution portfolio, support end-of-life decisions, analyze emerging technology trends, and recommend improvement solutions.
Apply Technology (25%)
Lead architecture for business applications, develop roadmaps, act as a consultant on automation and AI platforms, and deliver enterprise target state architecture.
Provide Enterprise Guidance (15%)
Supply governance deliverables, support a community of practice, design governance activities, and define principles and standards for solution decisions.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent with extensive related project experience in automation, AI, or a relevant industry. Minimum of seven years of experience in IT solution development disciplines, including architecture, automation, AI, and cloud development. Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments. Strong understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends in automation and AI. Experience delivering presentation to senior executives and technical audiences. Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and communication skills. Skills
Automation platforms: UiPath, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, nebulaONE, Glean AI. Backend development: Python, Java, .NET. Database technologies: SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft, Oracle. Front-end development: JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Architecture aspects: cloud, integration, network, security. ITSM, ITIL, DevOps, modeling languages (UML, ArchiMate). Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $90.00 – $100.00/hr.
