$67,421 - $122,315 / Year . Responsibilities
Administer social service programs and provide social work services including discharge planning, continuing care services, and clinical social work services. Provide crisis intervention, mandated reporting, information and referral; coordinate health and mental health services with community providers. Educate and advocate for patients, families and/or significant others; participate in department functions such as community and program education. Work in all acute medical units including NICU and burn units. Complete NICU assessments within two days of admission; maintain weekly and discharge progress notes; assist with case finding. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work. Knowledge and abilities essential for successful performance of duties. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications
California LCSW license (required to be hired at level III). Clinical training and/or work experience in acute care or inpatient settings. Experience with child welfare populations, Labor and Delivery, and NICU patients. Experience in hospital or Emergency Department settings; knowledge of community resources. Special Conditions and Pay
Pay scales by level: CSW1 ( $67,421-88,781 ; CSW2 (2+ years):
$82,747-$109,014 ; CSW3 (with California LCSW):
$92,853-$122,315 . Minimum two (2) years of post-MSW social work experience required for level II. Must be able to work varying hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. Equal Opportunity Notice:
