Talent & Team Management | Lewis & Clark Community College Scope of Position

The Workforce Training Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with key faculty, staff, and community partners in the development and implementation of workforce training programs that meet the needs of the local community and employers. The coordinator works closely with faculty, staff, industry partners, and external agencies to design and deliver high-quality, relevant, and accessible training opportunities that enhance the skills and employability of the participants.

With the assistance of the Institutional Research Analyst, identifies current and emerging workforce training needs and opportunities.

Develops, maintains, and documents relationships with industry partners, employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote and support workforce training programs.

Coordinates the delivery of customized training to workforce and community partners.

Coordinates the development and delivery of workforce training programs, grants, courses, and workshops.

Monitor the budget, resources, and logistics of workforce training programs, ensuring compliance with funding policies, procedures, and regulations.

Monitor and report on the outcomes and impact of workforce training programs and related grants, using data and feedback to inform continuous improvement and innovation.

Collaborate with the college's marketing team to develop and implement effective strategies to recruit workforce training participants.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

A bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, or a related field.

A minimum of three years of experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs.

Knowledge of current and emerging workforce trends, needs, and opportunities in the local and regional context.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and audiences.

Strong organizational, project management, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning management systems.

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

In this Grant Funded position, Team Members can expect to be paid a salary between $44,904 to $58,375 alongside an excellent benefits package. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
