Epika Fleet Service is hiring a Full-Time Accounting and Finance Associate in Nashville, TN. On-site full-time the first 90 days and then Hybrid. Epika has partnered with Hueman for this search. Epika is a portfolio company owned by Ares management.

We’re looking for a high-performing accounting and finance professional who wants to grow in a dynamic, private equity–backed environment. This role blends accounting and FP&A — offering exposure far beyond traditional accounting work.

You’ll function like a mini-CFO for one or more business units, owning the close, performing detailed analysis, and helping translate financial performance into business insights. Depending on experience, the title may range from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant, Finance Associate, or Financial Analyst. We have a modern finance tech stack — NetSuite, FloQast, Power BI. You’ll get direct exposure to the CFO and senior leadership, and the opportunity to progress into senior finance roles as the organization scales.

Job Responsibilities:

· Opportunity for financial leadership over one or more brands. This includes leading monthly business reviews, analyzing monthly performance through P&L and EBITDA bridge reviews, and driving actionable results for operations.

· Own the monthly close process — prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations in NetSuite and FloQast.

· Be a key contributor in acquisition accounting and integrations, supporting purchase accounting, Net Working Capital settlements, and the onboarding of new businesses into NetSuite and FloQast.

· Key player assisting with external audit, ensuring timely support, documentation, and coordination with auditors.

· Drive continuous improvement through automation, process design, and system optimization.

Job Requirements:

• · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA-eligible a plus.

  · 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience (public or industry).

  · Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and basic financial modeling.

  · Excel fluency; experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or Power BI a plus.

  · Natural curiosity, strong analytical mindset, and clear communication skills.
