Gastroenterology Physician

Details:

• Support Staff: APP
• Patients per day: 14 but can vary
• Patient Population/Age: Adult
• Department Description: the providers will be covering 2 locations that are 12 minutes from each other.
• EMR: EPIC

Required Procedures:

• Esophageal Dilatation
• Small Bowel Biopsy
• Lower GI Endoscopy
• Sigmoidoscopy
• Colonoscopy
• Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube

Upper GI Endoscopy (EGD):

• With Biopsy
• With Foreign Body Removal
• With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery)
• With Banding of Varices

ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography):

• Diagnostic
• Therapeutic

Other Procedures:

• PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Licensure & Certification Requirements:

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology
  
• Active IL state License or IMLC
  
• BLS & ACLS
