Job Description Salary: Negotiable We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Licensed Therapist
to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will hold a master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field, and have experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, or families. As a therapist at Alina Centers, you will play a key role in helping clients manage and overcome life challenges, while fostering a supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. INTERN ACCEPTED
Key Responsibilities: Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions based on clients' needs, goals, and treatment plans. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and intake evaluations to determine appropriate treatment interventions. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, adjusting as necessary to ensure progress toward therapeutic goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (psychiatrists, physicians, etc.) to coordinate holistic care for clients. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines, including progress notes and treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being. Stay up to date with current therapeutic methods, continuing education, and best practices in the field of mental health. Adhere to confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines established by state licensure boards and regulatory organizations. Foster a therapeutic, empathetic, and safe environment that promotes client trust and positive outcomes. Participate in regular supervision, case reviews, and team meetings for ongoing professional development and support.
Qualifications: Masters degree in psychology, Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or a related field from an accredited institution. Current, active
Florida state licensure
as a therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent). Minimum of
25 years of experience
in providing therapy or counseling services in a clinical or private practice setting. In-depth knowledge of mental health diagnoses, evidence-based treatment modalities, and appropriate interventions. Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and crisis management. Ability to create a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage with diverse populations. Familiarity with Florida state regulations regarding mental health services and telehealth delivery. Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with
specific populations , such as trauma survivors, individuals with addiction issues, children and adolescents, or couples. Certification or advanced training in
trauma-informed care, Behavioral
Therapy, or other evidence-based modalities. Experience providing
telehealth services
in a secure and HIPAA-compliant environment. Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish/ Haitian-Creole) are a plus.
