Each location is equipped with an on-site laboratory and digital X-ray capabilities.
This position is with an independently owned and operated AFC franchise location. Job duties and benefits may vary by franchise.
Job Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers high-quality care within their licensed scope of practice and according to the collaborative agreement in place. This role involves working closely with other providers and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and excellent patient experiences.
Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams; review medical records and develop comprehensive care plans Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests based on patient symptoms and medical history Diagnose and treat medical conditions, or refer patients to appropriate specialists or facilities as needed Initiate emergency care measures in urgent situations such as cardiac arrest, allergic reactions, trauma, or other critical conditions Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor Board Certified by ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA (ER/Urgent Care experience preferred) Active and unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of practice Current DEA registration, DOT certification, and state-controlled substance license (as applicable) Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
