Reliability Engineer (Computer Hardware)
Location: Onsite in Austin, TX

We're seeking a hands-on Hardware Reliability Engineer to lead testing and validation for advanced computing hardware. This role focuses on ensuring mechanical and thermal durability across a range of demanding operating conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute reliability test plans for new hardware systems
- Oversee shock, vibration, thermal cycling, and environmental stress testing
- Define test requirements and performance criteria based on product goals
- Collaborate with design and systems teams to analyze results and improve designs
- Create custom test setups and fixtures when needed
- Lead root cause analysis and document findings in reliability reports
- 5+ years in reliability or test engineering for electronics or mechanical systems
- Knowledge of standards such as MIL-STD-810 or ISTA
- Experience with vibration, HALT/HASS, or thermal stress testing
- Understanding of thermal design and heat management principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master's a plus)
