Databricks . As a Machine Learning Developer Advocate, you will share your expertise in agents, AI, GenAI, MLOps, and LLMOps, and serve as a conduit between engineering teams and the developer community of data scientists and AI engineers building on technologies such as pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch, DSPy, MLflow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Databricks.

You’ll deliver engaging talks, host panels and meetups, create informative blogs and video content, develop courseware, provide expert answers in community forums, and conduct one‑on‑one sessions with influential data engineers and scientists. You will work closely with the Databricks community, Mosaic AI product, and engineering teams to align user needs with product development.

Impact You Will Have

Share knowledge about machine learning and large language model development, production, and operations; demonstrating an intricate understanding of how to streamline ML/AI/LLM lifecycles.

Generate awareness for Databricks Mosaic AI by establishing it as a leading technical solution through regular speaking engagements at industry events.

Expand Databricks Mosaic AI and MLflow meetups and user groups to attract tens of thousands of participants, fostering a thriving community.

Foster enthusiasm for Databricks Mosaic AI and MLflow by leveraging creativity and innovation to create engaging experiences and content, welcoming novel perspectives and stimulating discussions.

Enable data engineers to build MLOps and LLMOps infrastructure with MLflow.

To facilitate the widespread adoption of new Databricks Mosaic AI features, create high‑quality educational resources such as videos, sample notebooks, tutorials, and blog posts.

Advocate for the needs and desires of the ML and AI communities within Databricks, ensuring their voices are heard and considered by other teams.

Provide robust support for users across platforms like Slack, StackOverflow, and online communities to stay attuned to their feedback and requirements.

Qualifications

5+ years experience as DevRel and as a software developer, solutions architect, or related profession.

Subject‑matter knowledge of solving data engineering problems at all scales.

Active participation and recognized leadership in Databricks community forums, chats, and meetups.

Experience with Python and SQL, machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as scikit‑learn and PyTorch, and open source and SaaS AI models.

A leader in the data science and machine learning communities, including MLflow.

Experience working with and contributing to open source communities.

Experience managing, operationalizing, and engaging with developer communities, running user groups, or holding global meetups.

A solid communicator with experience writing about, teaching, and speaking about complex technical topics.

Empathy and a deep technical understanding of developer personas and can apply that to the design and development of good experiences in tutorials, notebooks, communities, and more.

Zone 1 Pay Range $139,900—$195,850 USD
