Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a driven and accomplished

Enterprise Account Executive

to lead all sales efforts within an assigned territory for a defined product suite. This individual will own the full sales cycle—from territory planning, prospecting, and lead generation through solution presentations, proposals, contract negotiations, and deal closure.

The Enterprise Account Executive will work collaboratively with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to meet ambitious revenue goals, while consistently delivering the highest standards of integrity, customer service, and business value. This role requires a strategic, consultative sales professional with a proven track record of building strong customer relationships and successfully closing complex enterprise software deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive territory strategy and growth by owning customer relationships for a defined product suite.

Collaborate with sales leadership on complex, multi-suite enterprise opportunities.

Develop and manage executive-level relationships with senior decision-makers across state and local government, education, and nonprofit organizations.

Generate new opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and leveraging marketing activities.

Deliver compelling sales presentations, including high-level, vision-setting product demonstrations.

Develop in-depth knowledge of company solutions, industry verticals, and competitive positioning.

Lead consultative sales processes including prospecting, qualification, scoping, solution design, negotiation, and closing.

Collaborate with marketing to design and execute demand-generation strategies, campaigns, and event participation.

Lead contract negotiations with new and existing customers.

Maintain strong, referenceable customer relationships to drive account growth and brand credibility.

Actively contribute to sales process improvement, forecasting, and pipeline management.

Consistently meet or exceed annual sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.

5+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience; state and local government vertical experience a plus but not required.

Demonstrated ability to close complex, consultative deals in competitive environments.

Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.

Strong work ethic, hunter mentality, and results-driven approach.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage senior executives on strategic initiatives and budgets.

Highly collaborative, coachable, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred).

Ability to travel up to 50%.
