Opportunity for Radiation Oncologist with Mercy Health Youngstown
Join Mercy Health Physicians growing oncology practice in Youngstown, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team providing patient‑centric cancer care through weekly tumor boards and national cancer accreditations.
The Radiation Oncologist will support our hospital‑based group across four locations, focusing on prostate cancer and offering advanced radiation therapies including IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, ABC breath hold and high‑dose‑rate brachytherapy.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Support our hospital‑based group with three locations and one joint venture location, focused on prostate cancer in the Greater Youngstown region.
Provide advanced radiation services throughout the four locations: IMRT/IGRT/VMAT/SBRT/SRS/ABC breath hold/High dose rate brachytherapy.
Board certification or eligibility required and strong interpersonal skills with commitment to strengthen the cancer treatment team.
Mercy hospital is committed to increasing multidisciplinary site‑specific tumor boards and clinics with dedicated nurse navigators.
Radiation Oncology department support staff includes nurse practitioner, medical physicists, dosimetrists, dedicated nursing, dietician and social workers.
