  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • Schedule: 6:00aâ€"2:00p (3 shifts) and 6:00aâ€"6:00a OB coverage
  • EMR: Paper charting
  • Call Type: Beeper; 30-minute response
  • Trauma Level: III
  • Practice Model: Physician-only anesthesia
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 90â€"120 days
  • Temporary Privileges: Available
    • Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Active Alabama medical license
  • ACLS certification
  • Ability to supervise CRNAs (preferred but not required)
  • Must live 90+ miles from the facility
  • Complete credentialing within 7 days of acceptance
    • Clinical Details
  • Case Mix: General, OB, trauma, neuro (head/spine), thoracic, vascular, and orthopedics
  • Procedures:
    • - General, regional, and spinal anesthesia - Epidural anesthesia (preferred) - Arterial line placement - Ventilation management - Central line placement (preferred)
  • OB experience not required but preferred
    • Compensation
  • Rates: Facility is accepting bids
  • Malpractice: Provided
  • Travel: Reimbursed
