JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Massachusetts Medical License (preferred, not required)
• Board: BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred)
• Experience: Recent inpatient obstetrics experience required
• Other Qualifications: Commitment to health equity and quality improvement; fluency in Spanish or other languages preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage labor and delivery patients, including monitoring and delivery assistance
• Respond to obstetric emergencies promptly
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as required
• Provide postpartum inpatient care
• Collaborate with midwives and family medicine teams for consults and coordinated care
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation
• Mentor and educate residents, fellows, and medical students
• Promote shared decision-making and patient education
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
