Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage patients in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU and step-down units
- Perform procedures including balloon pumps, central lines, and chest tubes
- Oversee admissions, discharges, and consults
- No OR/first assist responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Must have active Physician Assistant license in Pennsylvania
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic critical care essential; no new graduates
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred
