We are seeking an exceptional and proven executive to serve as the
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
for our
client based in San Diego . This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the overall strategy, operations, and financial performance of the organization. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep, hands-on understanding of
e-commerce ,
high-growth DTC models , and
brand development , capable of navigating the regulatory and operational complexities of a
telehealth business
to lead the company into its next phase of hyper-growth. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term strategy that drives exponential revenue growth and market share within the competitive DTC wellness and telehealth landscape. Strategically assess and plan for the operational integration and launch of a
new sister brand , ensuring full alignment with the company’s mission and resources. Lead the strategic planning process, setting ambitious, measurable goals for patient acquisition, service delivery, and compliance. E-commerce & DTC Expertise Oversee all DTC operations, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and high-converting patient journey from consultation to home delivery. Drive significant improvements in key DTC metrics, including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), conversion rates, and subscription retention within a continuity/membership model. Champion data-driven decision-making, utilizing analytics to optimize performance marketing spend and channel growth, while strictly adhering to healthcare advertising guidelines. Brand Building & Marketing Define, strengthen, and champion a consistent, trustworthy, and differentiated brand identity in the health and wellness space. Direct the development of innovative, compliant marketing campaigns that build brand equity, establish clinical credibility, and drive patient trust and loyalty. Operational, Financial, & Compliance Management Own the P&L, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure sustainable profitability. Oversee and ensure strict compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, state medical board regulations) and best practices for telehealth and compounded medication. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, including clinical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (founders, board, investors, physicians, etc.) Qualifications & Experience
10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years as a CEO, President, General Manager, or similarly senior executive. Mandatory: Proven, hands‑on track record of scaling a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand from substantial revenue to significant scale ($50M annual revenue preferred). Strong preference for executive experience in
Telehealth ,
DTC Health & Wellness , or a
subscription-based continuity model
with high regulatory complexity. Deep expertise in
e-commerce platforms, technologies, and best practices . Exceptional skills in
brand strategy, development, and marketing . Strong
financial acumen
and experience managing complex P&Ls, budgets, and capital allocation. Demonstrated ability to
inspire, motivate, and manage
