Silicon Validation Software Engineer: Embedded and Low-level Programming

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join our team, where you will gain unparalleled insights into the groundbreaking SoC IP and chip-level architecture that powers iconic Apple products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, and Apple TV. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across architecture, hardware design, and software to develop and execute test plans, debug systems, and correlate silicon data. Your responsibilities will include reviewing specifications, creating and refining test plans, developing test content, and driving iterative improvements through comprehensive test plan coverage assessment. Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior pre-silicon and/or post silicon validation experience
  • Strong proven experience and background in images, video, and/or display processing systems
  • GPU and camera related experience
  • Understanding of SOC architecture, pipelines, and bus protocols and performance
  • Prior embedded software experience
  • Skilled at scripting Python, bash
  • Experience with some data analysis and data visualization tools
