DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The impact you will have in this role: DTCC has embarked on a large-scale modernization and transformation of its legacy COBOL & distributed environment to a modern cloud enabled services-based architecture. A key part of our modernization strategy is developing and using our private cloud platform. This role will be responsible for designing and engineering of foundational services and frameworks, collaborating with business, architecture, technology and implementation teams. – with an explicit focus on our container and private cloud infrastructure. Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills, along with proven expertise in delivering large scale technology implementations is expected. Your Primary Responsibilities : Leadership of architecture / design teams, passionate about our private cloud platform Responsible for handling the personnel of the above teams, including employees, contractors, and vendor managed staff. Serve as a “Change Agent” who brings a sense of urgency and can mobilize resources and complete initiatives on time. Develop a positive relationship with business line leaders, IT members, and the operations team. Understand the business/process making sure the technology delivery is seamless. Communicate technical issues effectively in management messaging for IT and business leaders Effectively drive large and/or complex projects and communicate status to management and project teams. Identify problem areas and alternative solutions. Implement solutions that are developed within project timelines, budgets, and quality constraints. **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. ** Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience. Min 8 years of related experience 5+ years IT or industry experience working with or in infrastructure design, with an understanding of Infrastructure as Code and/or software engineering knowledge. Talents Needed for Success: Must possess knowledge in Infrastructure as Code and/or software engineering, private cloud infrastructure and containers Demonstrated track record of applying technology to solve business problems. Experience building and delivering solutions with world-class security, reliability, performance and resiliency. Understanding and/or working Knowledge of infrastructure services, covering compute, storage, and virtualization Have an entrepreneurial spirit, are a self-starter, and an analytical problem solver with the ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to actionable roadmaps and results. Demonstrable critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make data-driven decisions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and delivering on sophisticated initiatives Proven track record to manage and maintain a very strong control environment. Prior Financial Services experience is highly preferred. Alternatively, must have prior experience for working in a regulated environment and managing / partnering with industry regulators. Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently. Experience leading engineering and IT organizations that are distributed and remote. Experience building excellent processes and workflows that adapt to scale. The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
