POSITION SUMMARY
This position coordinates daily office operations, ongoing communications, and data management for the Accessibility and Disability Resources Office. This position will oversee the operations of the accommodated testing rooms.
Specifically, this position provides oversight of office data management including monitoring the electronic delivery of academic accommodation letters, management of student files, and compiling data reports. This position also ensures data records are maintained in accordance with Section 504 and in the event of an audit or OCR information request, would assist the Associate Chief Diversity Officer for Disability Resources in compiling requested information. This position also coordinates daily operations of the ADR testing rooms including communicating with faculty and staff partners. The position will also be responsible for cultivating a list of staff/faculty available to proctor exams when additional staff or locations are necessary and prepares training and materials for proctors.
This position follows an 11-month annual schedule.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily testing center operations.
  • Administer and monitor electronic accommodation letters.
  • Maintain and manage disability data; collaborate with Institutional Research.
  • Stay current with evolving legal standards related to testing accommodations.
  • Exercise independent judgment in implementing testing accommodations, often without direct supervision.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three years or more of work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Professional Competencies: Strong judgment, high accuracy under pressure, ability to handle multiple priorities, and demonstrated dependability and discretion in managing confidential information.
  • Knowledge & Expertise: Knowledge of student disability access needs in a college environment. Working knowledge of current legal mandates related to FERPA and ADA. Prior experience with database management systems and/or advanced knowledge of data manipulation in excel.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build strong working partnerships, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a commitment to continuous learning.
