Role Description:
Pay Commission Base Responsibilities: - Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning - Administer anesthetics and sedatives to patients as necessary - Conduct dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crown placements - Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care - Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and CT scans - Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and patient records - Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and new treatment techniques Requirements: - Valid state dental license - Graduation from an accredited dental school - Proficiency in medical coding and documentation - Knowledge of dental software systems such as CAD, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic - Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff - Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Vital signs monitoring may be required for certain procedures or patients.

Qualifications Proficient in dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning Skilled in performing dental procedures including fillings, crowns, root canals, and extractions Effective patient communication and education skills Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of New York Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Experience with dental software and technology is a plus Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
