Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead the medical centers financial strategy and operations. The CFO reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team. This role provides oversight of all financial functions including budgeting, general accounting, reimbursement, revenue cycle, grants management, and compliance. The CFO also collaborates closely with department leaders and physicians to support quality patient care through strong fiscal stewardship. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all financial departments including: General Accounting, Budgeting, Payroll, Grants & Related Entity Accounting Reimbursement, Patient Accounts, Accounts Payable/Receivable Health Information Management Develop and present monthly financial statements and reports to the CEO and Board Coordinate the annual operating and capital budget processes Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and budget variances Oversee all federal, state, and third-party reporting requirements (Cost Reports, 990, audits, etc.) Direct the financial planning, audit preparation, and policy implementation across all departments Supervise financial management for grants and hospital-affiliated primary care entities Collaborate with external auditors, bank partners, and regulatory agencies Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting required MBA, CPA, or FHFMA designation strongly preferred Minimum 5 years of healthcare finance experience in New York State At least 3 years in a financial leadership or supervisory role In-depth knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and NYS healthcare finance regulations Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to communicate complex financial data effectively to executive stakeholders Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Extended Illness Bank Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance Supplemental Short-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program 403(b) Retirement & Savings Plan Tuition Reimbursement Program Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday Occasional evenings or weekends based on organizational needs Location: Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center 621 Tenth Street Niagara Falls, NY 14301 Apply Today!
