Job Description:
The Associate Metrology Technician will support the calibration, maintenance, and documentation of measurement and test equipment used in the manufacturing and laboratory environments at our clients manufacturing facility in Wilson, NC. This role ensures that all instruments meet regulatory and internal quality standards for accuracy and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of calibration principles and measurement science. Familiarity with calibration tools and software. Permanently authorized to work in the U.S.,
must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
Preferred: 1+ year of experience in a regulated (GMP/ISO) environment Experience with calibration management systems (e.g., Blue Mountain, ProCal, or similar) Knowledge of ISO 17025 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite)
Responsibilities: Perform calibrations on a variety of instruments including temperature, pressure, flow, pH, conductivity, and analytical equipment. Maintain calibration records and ensure traceability to national/international standards (e.g., NIST). Assist in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues and out-of-tolerance conditions. Support the development and revision of calibration procedures and SOPs. Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, ISO 17025, and internal quality standards. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to support equipment readiness. Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
