Trillium Construction is hiring a
Construction Superintendent
for our client, a leading
General Contractor
specializing in
multi-million dollar projects
across sectors including
financial, automotive, healthcare, educational, corporate, industrial, religious, and retail facilities.
Minimum Requirement: 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Superintendent for a General Contractor.
Key Responsibilities Champion
safety
as the top priority on the jobsite, ensuring compliance with all company policies, project safety plans, and safety regulations. Collaborate with
Estimating
and
Project Management
teams to oversee and coordinate all phases of construction, maintaining direct communication with owners, designers, and subcontractors. Partner with
General Superintendents
and
Project Managers
to improve construction methods and resolve project challenges. Lead or assist in developing detailed construction schedules using
Primavera P6 . Manage daily reporting and jobsite documentation through
NoteVault Software . Coordinate progress reporting and compliance documentation in partnership with the Project Manager. Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and adherence to contract documents. Maintain construction schedules by ensuring proper staffing, resource allocation, and timely material procurement. Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring scope, timing, and performance align with project goals. Participate in hiring, training, and mentoring field personnel in coordination with HR. Address and resolve workforce concerns in collaboration with the General Superintendent. Submit payroll documentation accurately and on schedule. Contribute to
preconstruction activities
as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe project site, including job trailers and company vehicles. Lead or assist with self-perform scopes to maintain schedule and budget compliance. Conduct internal project meetings and
Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC)
meetings. Ensure all
dimensional controls
are established and maintained, engaging third-party surveyors as needed. Responsibilities may vary based on project needs.
