Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of overall hotel operations. Manage the Maintenance Staff and ongoing preventative maintenance projects, renovations, and construction coordination. Work with contractors on renovations, remodeling projects, and new construction. Oversee custodial work as necessary to provide optimum service and guest satisfaction. Provide individual performance effectiveness, follow proper security and liability measures to protect company assets. Benefits

Ensure a smooth operation and guest experience. Monitor compliance with state building codes, OSHA safety codes, and fire department standards of safety and evacuation procedures. Recruit, interview, and recommend prospective employees; evaluate job performance and recommend appropriate discipline and rewards. Direct responsibility for maintenance and operation of all equipment on the property and building structure, including refrigeration, HVAC, boilers, fire alarm system, power systems, and emergency generators. Effectively direct maintenance staff and assign tasks. Operate within budget and labor expenses. Coordinate remodeling projects, schedule labor and material, and evaluate aesthetic exterior and interior. Identify maintenance and repair issues, initiate work orders, and complete repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and maintain mechanical logs. Resolve guest problems and handle all requests in a timely manner in accordance with hotel standards. Coordinate emergency procedures with General Manager and Corporate Director of Engineering; conduct drills, train staff, and maintain emergency equipment. Specific Job Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Advance knowledge of building management. Extensive experience installing and troubleshooting electrical switches, operating boilers, and repairing appliances. Complete understanding of all building related systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety. Remain current on related technology advances that enhance hotel operations. Physical Demands

Regular walking, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, talk, and walking in cramped areas; exposed to noisy locations and extreme hot and cold temperatures. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations. Qualification Standards

College degree or related courses helpful. Vocational schooling, certification, and or related experience in HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry. 3+ years hands‑on experience. Hotel experience preferred; knowledge of hotel operations. Leadership skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. EEO Employer
