Compensation Range

Starting pay range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, DOE

Position Summary Our Manager‑In‑Training (MIT) program provides an interactive 12‑week learning experience that guides you through hands‑on and computer‑based training. The program focuses on managing your own account, including:

General Training & Comprehension – Learn and perform job assignments across positions and operate and teach others how to use industrial cleaning equipment.

Leadership Development – Assist in training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff according to policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.

Policies & Procedures – Provide leadership, support, and guidance to meet quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.

Reporting – Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment in report format for HCSG and facility management.

Training – Manage all training, quality control, and in‑servicing staff to meet HCSG standards, including touring several times per day to assess work quality using QCIs.

Leadership – Handle payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Communication – Effectively communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.

Safety – Utilize protective gear, mix and use cleaning solutions safely, report equipment or product issues, and adhere to infection control and universal precautions.

Punctuality – Ensure consistent attendance and timely completion of assigned work according to schedule.

Customer & Resident Experience – Represent HCSG courteously and cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, clients, residents, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.

After completing training, utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic computer skills to maintain records and complete web‑based reports.

Must be available to work as scheduled and on time.

Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies as required.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.

Ability to work around food and cleaning products.

Must live in the service area.

Pay wage will vary based on objective factors, including location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.
