This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates. Responsibilities
As a Telecommunication Engineer, you’ll provide technical design of systems for building projects including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio/visual, and other low voltage systems. Responsibilities include preparation of engineering drawings and specifications, conduct site visits, review technical documents, occasional customer contact and integration of owner‑specific installation requirements with site‑specific applications. You will also learn from more senior team leaders and will be mentored. Qualifications
Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution 4 or more years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings Familiarity and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards Experience with Revit software Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary Credentials as an RCDD or working toward this title (preferred) Electrical Engineering degree, or related discipline (preferred) Benefits
