Base pay range $78,500 /yr – $110,000 /yr
Project Architect – Licensed
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Architect to join a dynamic, midsized architecture firm. The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect with some project management skills and a passion for delivering thoughtful, accurate, high-quality designs. This role offers the opportunity to lead commercial architecture design projects from concept through completion, while collaborating closely with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects from schematic design through construction administration
Develop design concepts, plans, elevations, and technical documents that meet client goals and regulatory requirements
Facilitate coordination across multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and contractors
Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables efficiently
Review and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards
Oversee and mentor team members, providing guidance and quality assurance
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and quality
Qualifications
Current architectural license required (NCARB certification preferred)
5–20 years of professional architectural experience, project leadership roles a plus
Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with visualization tools such as SketchUp or Lumion a plus
Strong understanding of building systems, technical detailing, and construction methods
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
Experience with midsized firm workflows and client relationship management is a plus
