Axon is on a mission to Protect Life by advancing safety and justice with devices and cloud software. As a Senior Analyst on the Strategy & Corporate Development team, you will partner with Axon’s executive leaders and product teams on high-impact projects including M&A, investments, and other strategic initiatives. What You’ll Do
Develop deep understanding of Axon’s product roadmap, competitive landscape, and ecosystem partners. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on potential M&A and investment opportunities, including market analyses and financial modeling. Partner with executive leadership to formulate and articulate sound theses and determine prioritization of opportunities. Drive end-to-end M&A and investment diligence, manage execution processes, and help grow Axon’s investment portfolio. Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and People Operations to perform thorough diligence and seamless deal execution. Help build M&A and investment processes into a core competency and center of excellence at Axon. Build quarterly presentations for Axon’s Board of Directors highlighting Strategy & Corporate Development updates and opportunities. Perform ad-hoc corporate finance analyses supporting Axon’s capital structure roadmap and capital market transactions. Tackle hard, ambiguous questions with rigor and independence, owning projects from problem definition to final recommendation. Take on high ownership, directly framing and influencing Axon’s most strategic decisions with a “win‑right” attitude. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years of experience at a top‑tier bulge bracket, boutique investment bank, or private equity firm focused on M&A, investing, and/or capital raising. Passion for Axon’s mission to Protect Life and a meaningful positive impact on society. High energy, low ego, and a “can‑do” attitude. Proven M&A and investment process execution experience. Advanced Excel skills and advanced proficiency with financial modeling and valuation. Advanced PowerPoint skills and comfort presenting to executive audiences. Excellent hypothesis‑driven problem‑solving skills, bringing structure to quantitative and qualitative insights. Adept at quickly grasping software and business technology markets, trends, and dynamics. Ability to work across teams and with external partners to solve challenging problems. Strong understanding of markets, competition, and how to leverage core competencies to create defensible strategies. Experience synthesizing and communicating complex analysis and ideas with ease both verbally and in writing. Ability to manage, prioritize, and advance numerous mission‑critical projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills. Benefits

The starting base pay for this role ranges between USD 118,800 (lowest geographic market) and USD 190,080 (highest geographic market). Base pay is dependent on factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and the combination of all these factors.
