Job Summary This PRN Clinical Pharmacist at St. Luke’s Health – Vintage Hospital (CommonSpirit Health) will help doctors and nurses safely prescribe and dispense medications. You will review every prescription in your queue and use your expertise to check for drug interactions, correct dosing, patient allergies, and other safety concerns. You will also provide patient education and communicate drug information to patients and health professionals.
Responsibilities
Review prescriptions for potential drug interactions, appropriate drug selection, and dosing.
Accurately enter, verify, and dispense medications in a timely manner.
Verify and check medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.
Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Required Licensure and Certification
BLS-CPR
Active State Pharmacist License in good standing in the state where employee works
Preferred Certification
ACLS
