Wholesale Credit Risk Analyst
Join Synovus in a role that supports wholesale bankers and Credit Risk Managers by assessing client credit risks and industry trends. Conduct detailed credit analysis, comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and help drive continuous efficiency improvements. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with bankers and Credit Risk Managers to assess client credit risks; prepare in-depth analyses of client financial statements, operating performance, business plans, capital structures. Prepare thorough servicing reviews, risk rating verification process; conduct covenant compliance reviews, assist CRMs in monitoring financial statements. Analyze traditional commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, leveraged financing, and cash flow lending; ensure all transactions comply with regulatory and company guidelines. Support bankers with large and/or complex client accounts; identify credit‑worthy prospects. Complete developmental assignments, participate in special projects, and support innovation and continuous efficiency improvements. Observe all policies, procedures, laws, regulations, risk limits; report known violations to the appropriate Company authority. Perform other related duties as required. Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Experience
One year of experience as a Wholesale Credit Risk Analyst; or graduate of Synovus' Accelerated Banker program; or two years of credit analysis experience. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
