Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our vibrant team in the Tech Services industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our company’s financial operations. You will be central to our financial planning and analysis (FP&A), contributing to strategic decision‑making processes that drive our organization’s growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analysis role.
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and advanced proficiency with Excel and other data analysis tools.
Strong fluency with FP&A activities including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Proven ability to perform in‑depth financial analysis and provide recommendations.
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
Excellent strategic planning skills and the ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial data and concepts to both financial and non‑financial colleagues.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines consistently.
A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
Experience with enterprise‑level financial systems is a plus.
