Program Director – ServiceNet
ServiceNet is a compassionate non‑profit organization that supports individuals facing mental illness, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, homelessness, and substance use issues. We are seeking a highly organized Program Director to lead our residential program in Greenfield, MA.
Position Summary Using Positive Behavior Support (PBS) strategies, the Program Director will be a professional team member responsible for supporting each individual’s right to live a safe, enjoyable, and meaningful life at home and in the community. The Program Director will develop creative opportunities that respond to the changing needs and desires of the people we serve.
Responsibilities
Assist with program start‑up: house or apartment set‑up, furnishing, staff hiring, and program development.
Oversee overall program operation, including licensing regulations.
Teach and model techniques for staff.
Manage daily affairs, welfare, and safety of program residents (nutrition, dress, sleep, medical and dental services, social services, emergency services).
Ensure residents have appropriate day activity and recreational programs suited to their needs and abilities.
Oversee individual money management needs.
Respond to crisis via 24‑hour rotating on‑call system.
Arrange/provide coverage when assigned staff is not available.
Participate in team meetings, ISP Reviews, and Treatment Team reviews.
Lead development of individualized goals, behavior plans, safety plans, etc.
Hold regular program meetings.
Maintain agency certifications.
Perform all other programmatic needs as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and supervisory/management experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience with developmental disabilities / brain injury populations.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.
MAP, PABC, and CPR / First Aid Certified preferred.
Able to pass background screening (CORI).
