Summary The Senior Business Development Director develops relationships and solicits business with new corporate accounts. The position supports the AV Business Development group under the Growth (Sales) team and is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in‑office and/or show site 2‑3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

Business Development Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop a pipeline of net new business opportunities for Studio Blue, a full‑service production company brand at Freeman.
Sell all Freeman lines of business, products, and services (with a focus on Studio Blue) and all related services and support.
Focus on sales to corporate organizations within an assigned or self‑defined customer market and/or segment.
Perform outbound sales calls, including cold calling, lead/referral follow‑up, and sales qualification to ascertain requirements.
Build and maintain a list of prospective corporate sales leads and keep leads updated within Salesforce.com.
Develop net new business contracts and act as the primary representative for assigned accounts, working closely with the assigned Client Relations owner.
Obtain future show/event schedule information from clients and solicit appropriate future business.
Collaborate with the Studio Blue Executive Producer and team on sales proposals and presentations, ensuring the message is on brand.
Achieve budgeted sales goals and revenue contribution.
Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit future business.
Prepare sales collateral and PowerPoint decks and make face‑to‑face presentations when necessary.
Entertain clients as necessary and attend industry events as assigned.
Miscellaneous
Ensure Salesforce.com data integrity for assigned accounts.
Prepare reports of business transactions.
Track travel expenses and submit travel expense reports as required.
Represent Freeman to internal personnel and external contacts in a loyal, ethical, and moral manner.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience required.
Ten (10) or more years of audio‑visual selling experience.
Proven ability to manage own book of accounts with revenue opportunities totaling approximately $5 million or more.
Knowledge of sales systems such as Salesforce.com required.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software applications.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
Excellent presenter.
