hireneXus We are seeking a strategic and growth-driven Vice President of Sales to lead national sales efforts for a fast-scaling, private equity–backed group focused on property and casualty insurance. This executive role will be responsible for building and managing a high-performance sales organization, developing new market strategies, and accelerating revenue growth across commercial and residential client segments. Location: Flexible within the U.S.; regular travel required. Sales Strategy & Operations
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with revenue and budget objectives. Strengthen market share in existing territories by maximizing sales efficiency and coverage. Lead strategic growth initiatives to identify and enter new or adjacent markets. Establish performance frameworks based on KPIs to improve sales team accountability and productivity. Standardize sales operations and processes—including playbooks—across the core business and any newly acquired entities to ensure consistent execution. Diversify and enhance revenue streams by introducing commercial sales into traditionally residential markets and targeting higher-value service lines. Expand and cultivate strategic referral partnerships to build a strong, sustainable sales pipeline. Sales Team Leadership
Lead and develop a high-impact sales team across multiple regions, promoting a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement. Operate as a player-coach—providing in-field mentorship, skill development, and performance coaching to elevate team capabilities. Drive talent acquisition efforts by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top-performing sales professionals. Manage the integration of sales teams from acquired companies and implement best practices across the combined organization. Marketing Collaboration
Act as a visible and credible executive presence in the market to reinforce brand leadership and customer trust. Partner with the marketing team to optimize lead generation, ensuring a high conversion rate from top-of-funnel to closed sales in both residential and commercial channels. Develop and track marketing performance metrics such as lead quality, conversion rates, and campaign ROI. Leverage AI and advanced technologies to enhance lead targeting, improve generation quality, and increase marketing efficiency. Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Industry experience in property restoration, insurance, construction, real estate services, or related fields is strongly preferred. Proven track record of scaling national or multi-regional sales organizations. Demonstrated leadership ability with a hands‑on approach and a strong focus on accountability and results. Deep understanding of complex, consultative sales cycles and strategic partnership development. Highly analytical, with strong skills in forecasting, planning, and performance measurement. Exceptional communication skills, with the executive presence and commercial acumen to influence stakeholders and drive growth.
