Vice President of Sales & Marketing
to lead our sales and marketing initiatives and drive the company's growth trajectory.
This position is in office at Lexington Kentucky.
As the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will lead sales initiatives targeting high-value commercial clients, focusing on securing business with large commercial, industrial, and utility customers. You will develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies designed to strengthen brand positioning, drive revenue growth, and expand market share. You will also oversee and mentor the sales team, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance. Collaboration with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams will be key to aligning organizational goals and fostering a high‑performance, results‑driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the sales and marketing teams to achieve strategic objectives and revenue goals.
Develop and monetize sales strategies that align with market opportunities and organizational goals.
Oversee marketing initiatives, including branding, digital marketing, customer engagement, and content creation.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure offerings meet market demand and customer expectations.
Establish metrics and measurement systems for sales and marketing performance tracking.
Manage budget allocation for sales and marketing efforts, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales and marketing teams.
Engage with industry stakeholders to build partnerships and drive business development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field; MBA is preferred.
10+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and building successful marketing campaigns.
Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Knowledge of solar energy products and market trends is a plus.
