About the role We’re seeking a digital media seller with strong agency and brand relationships to join our advertiser sales team. This individual‑contributor role focuses on hunting new business, expanding relationships, and closing deals with advertisers and agencies.

The ideal candidate is well‑connected within agency holding companies, understands the programmatic landscape, and knows how to position OpenWeb as a premium, brand‑safe, community‑driven advertising solution. This high‑impact role requires someone who is hungry, competitive, and motivated to consistently exceed quota.

What You’ll Do

Drive new business and revenue growth by selling OpenWeb’s full suite of advertiser solutions — including native, display, video, email, and social inventory — across both direct and programmatic channels.

Leverage your existing network of agency and brand contacts (particularly within holding companies) to open doors and build lasting partnerships.

Demonstrate programmatic expertise, positioning OpenWeb’s contextual and community‑driven environments as differentiated solutions.

Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting to pitching to closing — with urgency and precision.

Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the advertiser business.

Partner cross‑functionally with Partner Success, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver seamless campaign execution and ensure client satisfaction.

Meet regularly with clients in person to build stronger relationships, drive new opportunities, and grow strategic accounts.

Represent OpenWeb at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Use data and insights to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and optimize sales performance.

What You Bring

5‑7 years of digital media or ad tech sales experience, with a strong record of exceeding quota as an individual contributor.

A robust network of agency and brand relationships, especially within agency holding companies.

Working knowledge of the programmatic landscape, including DSPs, SSPs, brand safety, and contextual targeting.

A true hunter mentality — eager to prospect, pitch, and close new business.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Must be able to join us in our SoHo office

3x a week .

Compensation & Benefits Our Director of Sales, Demand compensation package includes an annual salary ranging between

$145,000

and

$175,000

(based on candidate’s experience and skill set). Additionally, this role is eligible for uncapped quarterly commissions, equity, and benefits including:
