About the Position As a BIM Manager, you will lead, oversee and coordinate all building information modeling (BIM) projects for electrical construction. You will manage the day‑to‑day activities of the BIM team, execute the BIM process from inception through completion, and contribute to key client-facing activities such as job solicitation, negotiation, scheduling, estimating, quality control, problem resolution, coordination, payments and overall client satisfaction.

Day in the Life
Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic input to key objectives, policies and procedures, and develop Company Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) policies and programs.
Develop estimates and proposals for design efforts and monitor daily department operations to meet goals and follow Company standards.
Plan and oversee all BIM projects to optimize efficiency of labor, materials, supplies, equipment and software.
Manage budgets, schedules, estimates, and provide quality control and problem‑resolution advice.
Coordinate and communicate scope and budget changes with the project manager and facilitate recouping extra BIM costs due to project changes.
Provide high‑quality hiring, communications, mentoring, training and team building to staff and coworkers.
Develop leadership potential through appropriate task assignments and career growth opportunities.
Build effective relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers to support the Company’s core values and exceed customer expectations.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge on new electrical and safety codes, materials, technologies, and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in building information modeling (BIM), trade school, engineering, or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in a BIM specialist role or equivalent, with 3–5 years of direct people‑management experience.
Proficiency using Autodesk, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office software; experience with Dynamo or Evolve software is a plus.
Experience setting up Revit models, creating families, and troubleshooting Revit‑related software issues; strong ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings and specifications.
Extensive project‑management skills and thorough understanding of the project life cycle.
Demonstrated strong leadership, customer focus, delegation and decision‑making skills; effective training and facilitation skills.
Strong business analysis, budgeting and mathematical skills; skills to read and interpret financial documents.
High level of integrity, dependability, and ethical conduct.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.
Salary Range
$112,500 – $179,900 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
