Vital Design
We are seeking a talented Visual Designer with 1-2 years of web experience to join our creative team at Vital Design.
Location: Portsmouth, NH | Salary Range: $50k – $75k | Employment Type: Full-time | Experience Required: 1–2 years of visual design in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop visually captivating design concepts for websites, digital ads, social media assets, and other digital marketing collateral.
Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance user experience and drive conversions.
Develop intuitive, high-fidelity product prototypes for stakeholder buy-in using an assortment of design tools.
Ensure brand consistency across all design assets by adhering to brand guidelines and effectively communicating brand identity through visual elements.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide innovative design ideas and solutions that align with client objectives and project goals.
Create responsive designs that adapt seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes, prioritizing functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and incorporate them into design strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
About the Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
1–2 years of professional experience in visual design, preferably in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of web design projects and digital marketing collateral.
Solid understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and web design frameworks is a plus.
