Your Role at Delta Faucet As a Lead IoT Systems Engineer, you will guide the transformation of a traditionally mechanical company into an intelligent, connected future. You will help design and deliver smart home water solutions that improve efficiency, water quality, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

Providing technical leadership and establishing product architecture (cloud, mobile, embedded) for digital and connected products.

Leading ecosystem alignment with smart home consortium and coordinating with internal team members and partners.

Bringing smart home water products from ideation to production.

Working in Architectural Frameworks (DoDAF, Zachman, TOGAF, etc.) to communicate architecture to the team members.

Guiding product development teams with strategic direction regarding technology selection, sourcing, implementation, and support.

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers to design an efficient solution for the entire system; coordinating technical activities across the entire project.

Delivering documentation and technical coordination across various engineering competencies.

Driving product solution requirements management (under both waterfall and agile methodologies), verification management, DFMEA, P-Diagrams, etc.

Working with Product Managers, Product Owners, and leadership on product requirements and goals.

Crafting products with a forward‑looking product lifecycle to remain relevant and last years beyond the initial launch.

Delivering product development projects on target, with predictability in the design and verification phases.

Working with existing team members to coordinate capabilities and updates to products in production.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technology field.

10+ years of hands‑on systems engineering with progressive responsibilities in complex end‑to‑end IoT enabled solutions and/or products.

Understanding of INCOSE; certification preferred.

Experience with IoT products: firmware (embedded software), mobile and cloud applications, connectivity (BLE, WiFi, Thread), and cybersecurity (maintenance, updates, offensive/penetration testing).

Over‑the‑air update experience for battery‑powered devices.

Supervising cloud performance monitoring and cost controls for managing a scalable, extensible, and composable cloud application infrastructure.

History of leading continuous improvement initiatives, including customer‑feedback driven and customer‑experience focused improvements to devices in production.

Understanding of Azure IoT Hub and Cloud Native Services.

Strategic IoT ecosystem experience; especially with Matter and C2C service extensions.

Defining and maintaining IoT data schema for product functionality, value, and/or monetization.

Full‑time position.

Hiring Range: $101,100.00 – $158,950.00.

Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
