Data Architecture & Engineering Manager – Financial Services (EY)
EY is looking for a dedicated manager to drive data architecture and engineering initiatives across financial services clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑geographic teams delivering data and analytics services to financial institutions.
Architect and design large data platforms, data warehouses, streaming applications, and ingestion pipelines.
Provide subject‑matter expertise in defining technical solutions and communicating results to business and technology audiences.
Build strong client relationships, cultivate business opportunities, and deliver thought leadership through white papers and proof of concepts.
Drive project delivery under tight deadlines and extreme time constraints.
Qualifications
Undergraduate or master’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, computer science, business, economics, finance, statistics, or analytics).
6+ years of related experience in banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Experience designing data platforms using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and Hadoop ecosystems.
Proficiency with data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, and big‑data analytics.
Experience with cloud platforms, streaming, NoSQL, and MPP technologies.
Valid passport and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
