Data Architecture & Engineering - Senior Manager - Financial Services
EY is seeking a Senior Manager to lead data architecture and engineering initiatives for financial services clients in New York, Charlotte, and Dallas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑geography data and analytics engagements, delivering solutions across finance, capital markets, insurance, and asset management domains.
Define technical and business approaches for data architecture, data governance, data migration, streaming, and cloud modernization.
Build strong relationships with C‑level executives, articulate technical solutions, and drive innovation through white papers, points of view, and proof of concepts.
Co‑advise on project management, process development, and client‑serving best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, economics, finance, statistics, or analytics.
Minimum 9 years’ experience in banking, capital markets, insurance, or asset management with at least 3 years managing a team.
Proven expertise in data platform design (data lakes, warehouses, streaming), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks), and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Airflow).
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to present technical conclusions to senior executives.
Travel up to 60% and valid passport required.
