Position Summary
The Director of Recruitment and Enrollment - Undergraduate is responsible for the oversight of activities related to recruitment, enrollment and admissions to the various undergraduate programs in the College of Business Administration. This position will manage the daily operations of recruitment and enrollment including developing, implementing and assessing all recruitment programs, training and supervising admissions staff and preparing, analyzing and presenting statistical information.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and assess the recruiting strategy including direct management of operations.
Plan and execute strategies for promoting the College of Business Administration by conducting on-campus events, planning mock classes and representing the school at recruiting fairs and forums.
Prepare, maintain, analyze and interpret statistical data and reports regarding enrollment trends, targets and opportunities, setting immediate priorities along with short and long-term goals.
Oversee all phases of admissions and records including enrollment planning and strategy, hiring, training and supervision of admissions staff and personnel. Serve as final authority on admissions related initiatives.
Cultivate new pipelines of prospective students.
Manage and expand recruitment relationships and partnerships.
Provide strategic management which includes determining and setting unit goals and priorities, budgetary and fiscal oversight, and identifying areas of improvement and developing new routines or procedures.
Plan, assign and review work of staff to ensure that group objectives are met. Hire, train, develop and manage staff to ensure that a qualified staff exists to meet group objectives.
Conduct regular review of related university policies and procedures to propose modifications, if necessary.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Five years of experience in university admissions, recruiting, or corporate customer relations; or a Master’s Degree/MBA with at least three years of experience in university admissions, recruiting, or corporate customer relations.
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, reliability and consistent follow-through necessary.
Strong ability to collaborate across organizational structures.
Knowledge and facility with basic office information systems (MS Office) and experience with admissions CRM such as Slate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
