Overview Tactical Response Officer

Tactical Response Officers provide the highest level of professional service in security and executive protection. Integrity, fitness, courage, and leadership all play a vital part in what a Tactical Response Officer should represent. We value the essential role that security and law enforcement professionals play in keeping us safe. This document details the minimum requirements, education, certifications, and specialized experience needed by candidates for the Tactical Response Officers. Must have EMT / Paramedics experience.

Hourly wage range :

$35 - $38 / hourly

Responsibilities

Protect client Facilities and personnel.

Provides a highly professional Tactical special operations capability

Undertake response and programmed operations for resolution, risk mitigation, investigative support, security and stability operations.

Follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner

Arrive at work in proper uniform and carrying needed, issued equipment

Exercise physical force up to and including deadly force

Respond to a variety of high stress incidents and physically demanding situations

Ability to successfully complete in-depth investigations of various types

Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation in accordance with established procedures

Maintain accountability, cleanliness and serviceability of uniform and equipment assigned

Follow applicable standard operating procedures and regulations pertaining to security of weapons, buildings, personnel, property and equipment

Conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspections

Work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of private security or federal, state, or local law enforcement or Military experience OR possess a minimum of three (3) years of Active-Duty Military Service, having held the rank of E-4 or higher upon honorable discharge

Must successfully complete any / all Washington DC Security Operations Management Branch (SOMB) required training and qualifications for Special Police Officer (SPO) Licensing / Certification

Must obtain and maintain valid Washington DC Special Police Officer (SPO) Licensing / Certification.

Must be qualified on, and proficient with, the 9mm Semi-Automatic Handgun; and possess and corresponding current and valid Washington D.C. SOMB armed special police officers firearms course certificate

Authorized to work in the United State (U.S. citizens preferable)

At minimum, possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent (see additional required "Specific Experience").

Possess a valid Driver's License.

Successfully pass standard background checks, as per Licensing requirements.

Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

Successfully pass drug screening, as per Licensing requirements; May be subject to random drug testing.
